Increasing Fertility in Women
Although this is not widely known, many women have trouble trying to get pregnant. Oftentimes it can take months or even years to conceive a child, and so it is natural that women who are trying to get pregnant start looking for ways to boost fertility. In this article, I’ll talk about a couple different methods to increase fertility naturally.
Control your weight
It’s a well known fact that being severely overweight or underweight can have a negative effect on women who are trying to conceive a baby.
Both underweight and overweight women should take the same approach to dealing with their weight problems: get on a healthy, nutritious diet and start exercising regularly. Eating unhealthy foods that are packed with saturated fats and other ingredients of very low nutritional value is just as bad as not eating at all. For this reason, your goal should be to consume a diet rich in vegetables, fruit, lean meats, low fat dairy products and so on. Consult your physician to find out what your recommended calories intake is.
Lead a healthier lifestyle
Many of us lead very unhealthy lives filled with a bad diet, no exercise and a whole set of harmful habits that have a negative effect of our health. If you are planning to get pregnant, changing your lifestyle right away is one of the best things that you can do. This includes:
- Quitting smoking (both you and your partner). Smoking is very dangerous and can make it difficult to get pregnant.
- Watch your alcohol intake. You should be drinking at most once per week and in very small amounts.
- Avoid caffeine. Tons of products today contain caffeine, which is not very healthy if you are trying to get pregnant.
